Welcome to Zion Christian Fellowship



				Zion Christian Fellowship is a small, hidden group of believers in the Lordship of Jesus Christ. That we even have a name may be presumptuous, be we eagerly await His promised return and reign from Mount Zion. Until then, we want Him to reign in us. Our goal is high. We want to be like Jesus. HE IS our goal. If He hadn’t invited us to come and be one with Him, we would have to agree that this is impossible, but rather than make Him a liar, we will believe His promise and seek Him with all our hearts. He is currently emptying us of our confidence in ourselves so that we might be filled with confidence in Him. That is painful and humiliating for the moment, but we are sure we will reap a reward that will last forever. He IS that reward. Jesus is also our doctrine. We believe that the Bible is about Him and that He is the fulfillment of all the Law and the Prophets. He also seems intent on writing that Law on our hearts and making of us a declaration to our generation.

<body background="media/Background.jpg" bgcolor="#ffffff"> <p>"When you are in distress and all these things have come upon you,<br> then <b>in the last days</b> you will return to the Lord your God and obey His voice" <br> Deuteronomy 4:30-31</p> <p>What about all the days before the last days? Does this passage not imply that there will be a long stretch of disobedience and chastisement before they will return to God and obey His voice?</p> <p>"For the Lord your God is a consuming fire, a jealous God."<br> Deuteronomy 4:24</p> <p>"[Moses] gave this command to the Levites who carried the ark of the covenant of the Lord: 'Take this Book of the law and place it beside the ark of the covenant of the Lord your God. There it will remain <b>as a witness against you</b>'". <br> Deuteronomy 31:26</p> <p>The Bible is unique in that it rarely hides the flaws of those who grace it's pages. Even the heroes of the faith are shown in their weakness. Isn't it interesting that the Law was going to be kept as a witness against Israel. Surely this was not for humiliation in and of itself, but a humiliation that was intended to drive Israel into the arms of a the only God that can save us from the curses of disobeying His Law. </p> <p>The theme of the <a href="../home/index.html" target="_top">Zion Christian Press</a> website comes from the Song of Moses:<br> "<b>They</b> <i>have</i> <b>moved</b> <b>me</b> to jealousy with that which is not God;<br> <b>They</b> <i>have</i><b> provoked me</b> to anger with their vanities:<br> <b>I </b><i>will</i> <b>move them</b> to jealousy with those which are not a people;<br> <b>I</b> <i>will</i> <b>provoke them</b> to anger with a foolish nation."<br> Deuteronomy 32:21</p> <p>In this passage of Scripture it is implied that there will be a people who don't have the rich heritage of Israel, but somehow obtain what Israel was chosen and separated from other nations by God to obtain, which was God Himself. </p> <p>This is the Intro page of the site.
